Wide Compatibility
Since the PLAYBASE connects directly to your TV, it'll work with whatever else connects to your TV, like cable boxes, gaming consoles, satellite systems, optical players, and more, along with popular streaming sources.
Multi-Room Compatible
The Playbase connects via Wi-Fi to your other Sonos products, so you can play the same audio everywhere or choose what you want to hear on a room-by-room basis.
Speech Enhancement
When turned on, the Speech Enhancement function reduces loud sound effects while maintaining dialogue volume.
Keeps dialog volume consistent while reducing the intensity of loud sound effects. So you can clearly understand even the faintest whisper.
Night sound setting
Don’t want to disturb the rest of the house? Turn on Night Sound. At lower volumes, quiet sounds get a slight boost while loud ones are automatically reduced.

The PLAYBASE has capacitive buttons that let you control volume, track, and play/pause.
