Emel Sideboard – Malabar

The modern Emel sideboard follows the strict design directives commanded by the famed Italian rationalist architect, Aldo Rossi. The urban influence of Rossi and Malabar’s aesthetic converge to create a contemporary and spirited piece. On the Emel contemporary sideboard, the central shelves are made of ironwood and finished with an eclectic veneer patchwork on the exterior, while the lacquered structure finished with high gloss varnish is supported by a polished brass base, adding the finishing touches to this classic furniture piece with a modern edge. Emel is part of World Architects Collection.

Structure in polished brass with two drawers in lacquered wood, inside in iron wood with smoked glass shelves.
Outside shelves in iron wood and a patch work of various wood veneers.
